Common questions
Why don’t I see every device?
Phones in low power, guest networks, client isolation, VPNs, and quiet IoT devices often won’t answer. NetPresence lists hosts that respond — it is not a guarantee of every radio on the air.
Why is Wi‑Fi name blank?
iOS only shares the SSID when Location (When In Use) is allowed and Access Wi‑Fi Information is entitled. Scanning still works without the name.
What does Pro unlock?
Longer history, sticky names/notes/favorites/watchlist, stronger quiet-host retries, scan quality report, alerts, CSV export, Wake-on-LAN when a MAC is known, and UniFi guest-portal authorize on a console you connect. Basic scanning stays free.
UniFi Control
Requires Pro plus a UniFi Network Integration API key and console address. Only guest-portal authorize / unauthorize is supported. There is no fake “pending Wi‑Fi join” list from a LAN scan, and no universal kill switch.
Restore purchases
Use Restore Purchases on the paywall or in Settings, signed in with the same Apple ID used to buy.
